Global music icon The Weeknd has officially unveiled his highly anticipated studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, marking the final chapter in his celebrated trilogy following After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022). Released under XO / Republic Records, the album comes after an extraordinary 2024, where The Weeknd became the first artist in history to have 27 songs each surpassing 1 billion streams on Spotify. The album, featuring 22 tracks including ‘Open Hearts’ ‘Timeless’, and ‘Take Me Back To LA,’ is both a personal reflection and an artistic milestone, offering fans a deeper connection to the star’s musical journey. The Weeknd’s latest project also includes a charitable initiative, with proceeds from ‘Take Me Back To LA’ benefiting the LA Regional Food Bank.
In addition to the album’s release, The Weeknd is offering fans a multi-sensory experience through the Hurry Up Tomorrow Pop Up Experience in New York City, running from January 31st to February 2nd. This immersive event invites fans into the mind of The Weeknd through art installations, exclusive merchandise, and a chance to purchase a limited collection of Hurry Up Tomorrow apparel. Speciality retailer Hot Topic will also celebrate the album with a nationwide collection of exclusive merchandise, culminating in a special “takeover” event at its Downtown Summerlin store in Las Vegas.
