What do you get when an emotionally vulnerable music producer and emotionally open and honest songwriter get together and make a song? Fireworks that you can hear and see from a mile away. Music producer Felix Cartal and bold songwriter Hanne Mjøen have unveiled their collaborative track ‘My Last Song’ via Physical Presents. All we can say is that we are left in awe by this emotional turn for renowned music producer Felix Cartal who is known for his romantic and light dance-pop bangers.

Probably thanks to genius songwriter Hanne Mjøen, ‘My Last Song’ delves into the complications and strain relationships can have on your daily grind. The singer previously shared her single ‘Hell With You’, which is just as punchy and realistic as it talks about the choices we make to stay in relationships that may not be beneficial to our mental health in the long run but in the short term, you find it comforting. Presenting similar energy as the ‘Happy Hour’ track with globally renowned alternative pop singer Kiiara, it is no wonder this also broke from Cartal’s usual mould with the lyrics in mind as Hanne Mjøen co-wrote that hit as well.
