ZOCO Strike Back Against Digital Overload with “Overstimulated”

16 Views 0 Comment

Released on February 20, ‘Overstimulated’ is the final single before LUMANISTA I, the debut EP from ZOCO, the international rock project led by Marco Zocco alongside his brothers Paolo and Matteo. The track delivers a sharp and energetic critique of today’s dopamine-driven culture, confronting distraction, excess, and the slow erosion of identity in the digital age.

Musically, it blends punchy hard rock with electronic textures and club-influenced synth layers. A steady, driving rhythm underpins explosive guitar riffs, while charged vocals carry lines like “altogether, all alone” and the blunt directive to “get the f*ck off your phone.” The message is clear: unplug, wake up, and reclaim control.

Overstimulated’ follows previous singles ‘Restless,’ ‘Diamond In The Rough,’ and ‘Searching,’ all leading into LUMANISTA I, out March 6. The EP also features an alternative Nelson-produced version of the track and boasts high-profile collaborators including Gunnar Nelson, Kerry Brown, Carmine Rojas, and GRAMMY-winning producer Theron “Neff-U” Feemster.

With a sound shaped by Marco’s multicultural upbringing and multi-instrumental skillset, ZOCO combines classic rock foundations with modern production edge. ‘Overstimulated’ doesn’t just close a chapter before the EP—it defines its urgency. Bold, confrontational, and built to shake listeners out of complacency.
