Donna Luggasy is a Dutch singer and songwriter, her latest single coming off her upcoming EP Love & Breakups is titled ‘Coldest/ Break Up’ which was released on February 21st, 2020 via Luggasy Records. She produced, composed and mixed her own EP. The singer has collaborated and had features in tracks with VINAI, 22Bullets, and DJ Sidney Sampson. She has received attention from Youtube channels like Spinnin’ Records, MrRevillz, Basshall Movement, FunX and Tribal Trap. This exposure has increased the singer being streamed almost 4 million times across multiple platforms.

Donna was raised in the Netherlands in a multi-cultural family, her mother is Dutch while her father is of Israeli and Morrocan descent. At the young age of 10 years old her talent for singing was discovered, and she was soon placed in music lessons. By the age of 14, the singer was producing music by herself, she had begun to feel impatient with waiting on responses from potential agents and collaborators. She would go on to graduate from  Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam.

The entire EP is centred around romantic relationships. ‘Coldest’ is about thinking that your partner is the best person in the world, and nobody can compare it in your mind at the time. This is definitely a song about “the honeymoon” phase of every romance. ‘Break Up’ is the polar opposite, when your mind has settled and you realize that the relationship may not be working for you, after much thought.
