Eulene has released a lyric video for stunning track ‘Megalomaniac.’

Eulenes parents were both lovers of music and art, which lead to her family often taking trips to Cajun music festivals and the Carter Family Fold. With a father that played the guitar, he had taught her songs from Hank Williams Sr and Bill Monroe.

Eulene’s sound draws paralells to counterparts Robyn, Grimes and Lorde.  Her vocal ability definitely takes centre stage on this track, as her vocals perfectly capture the songs thematic bend. Eulene aims to break the boundaries of any genre she tackles, stepping away from her writing defaults and comfort zones to create this bold new record.

Eulene had the following to say about the single: “Megalomaniac is about excess. The excess of wealth and power…the excess of a dose that poisons.”
