October 2023 was a historic week for the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart: In a feat unmatched in the chart’s 64-year-history, Taylor Swift became the first artist ever to dominate the entire top 10 in a single frame. This accomplishment surpasses Drake‘s record of occupying nine out of the ten Hot 100’s top slots in a week back in September 2021.

Last month, the lead position on the Hot 100 was claimed by Swift’s track, ‘Anti-Hero,’ debuting at No. 1 and becoming the ninth chart-topper in her career thus far. Notably, all 10 songs in the top tier of the Hot 100 belonged to Swift‘s recently released album, ‘Midnights,’ which made a grand entrance at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Released on October 21st under Republic Records, ‘Midnights‘ achieved the most successful opening week for any release in the past seven years.
